After many happy hours spent looking through my stash of fabric, paper and other things I forgot I even had, my husband brought me cup of tea and to his dismay found me busy crafting instead of tidying. I have not really achieved tidy craft room, but finished another little project inspired by paper of cuts, which should have been thrown away long time ago.
I found some plain card and turned the of cuts into these:
I was inspired by the paper to make these gift tags a bit old fashioned and chose old white and faded purple buttons to compliment the paper. You can also see them here.
I have a bad habit of not throwing anything away, as I always think it could be useful for something one day. I still have not found much use lots of stuff I keep, but I'm glad I kept these papers.
It's only Sunday, but why not pop in to Handmade Monday for more inspiration and crafty ideas.
Ohhhh I have that habit too....I NEVER chuck anything away and now am overflowing with bits of card, die cuts and beads....I KNOW I'll need them one day ;) xx
ReplyDeleteYour gift tags are lovely. Good idea not to throw things out. You never know when they'll come in handy....
ReplyDeleteYup, I agree - never throw anything away...Oh, do I get told off for that!
ReplyDeleteYour tags are so lovely! I'd be delighted to receive a gift with a tag as pretty as that on it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use up scraps of fabulous papers :-)
ReplyDeleteThe tags are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI struggle to throw bits away too - I even sort into boxes with different sized scraps!
Absolutely scrumptious tags, you've done a fabulous job on them.
ReplyDeletebeautiful tags! they are fantastic craft stash busters whenever you wanna get rid of the scraps of some lovely paper but you find it difficult just to bin them.
ReplyDeletei love tags, they are such a nice form to say a word or two.
A great way of 'using what you've got' these are gorgeous and all the better for having been 'found'. Cx
ReplyDeleteI'm glad, I'm not the only one, who can't part with things.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a craft room - it's probably just as well or i'd be a major hoarder. The spare bedroom is full enough as it is. Lovely tags.
ReplyDeletethese are so gorgeous! what a fab find :) isn't it fun when you uncover some forgotten treasure! x
ReplyDeleteI never like throwing anything away either. Unfortunately I don't ever seem to have beautiful things like this paper. I love what you have done with it.
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty. Will have squirrel that idea away! Whenever I've thrown anything away I find I desperately need it a few weeks later!
ReplyDeleteThose are really pretty. That's the sort of thing I always think I should do to keep on hand, and never do. But I do have so much *stuff* I could probably make some. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the gift tags - I've been meaning to make some for a while, as I keep all my paper offcuts too :)
ReplyDeleteI love tags and like you cannot part with things, on that note am starting a big decluttering eek
ReplyDeleteThese are so totally cute!
ReplyDeleteLove them!
